Oh no Haydee!!!!!! You better call people right away so they can try to get their catering, dj, etc. relined up. I definitely wouldn't want to be you when you handle all that. Maybe hopefully one of the brides won't be too upset..

Pam, I have been in a funk and was going to get anti-depressants. In the past month my normally LOW BP, has been really high. So I was there for the AD, but he saw my BP and I told him it's been that way for a month. He was going to give me a diuretic for the BP, and I said I think it's probably related to my anxiety level these days.. so he's putting me on the meds for a month, and if it doesn't lower my BP he's ALSO going to put me on BP meds. But I really think they're related.

Can't you have one in the early afternoon and one in the evening??????? Or is the whole wedding and reception there?? YIKES!!!

Sorry about the mess you are in Haydee---mistakes happen and while THEY will be upset, we know you would never screw with people that way on purpose!

Different meds work for different people Laura, give it a chance. I take history on patients at work, and lots of them use the Lexapro. Hope it makes you a happy girl again!

I am off to bed, Kinsey is coming in the morning, to spend some time with me. I miss her and feel so badly that part of her problems and examinations were due to my allowing her to be hurt before. But it was not intentional----so I am trying to let it go.

Work today sucked rotten eggs! The OM and the Dr. got all pissy with me for a mistake THEY made! We had 4 siblings, and it is VERY VERY common with the Native American families to name similarly. These 4 kids were Adrian, Adrianna, Andre, and Andrea. When a patient comes in, I screen them, do the intake etc. then put the chart up for the Dr, they get called back etc. I did the boys---the girls were outside. So I worked them up, put them up for the Dr, and was doing the chart work to start the girls through, when here comes the office manager, all pissed off telling me I had messed up the charts, and the screening, and the Dr was having to redo it, and he was mad, and she was MAD! She tossed the chart down, and was flipping through the chart. I looked at it, and it was all right. It was Andre's chart, and his ins. info and his papers. So she says he must have the other chart, and she opens the door, and Andrea is in there----I told her I had not screened either of the girls, he took the wrong patient back. My charts were right. Neither one of them even looked at me, let alone apologized for getting pissy with me, when I had not done anything wrong! I am not perfect, I make my share of mistakes. I had just been extra vigilant with this family due to the names. And she threw SUCH a fit at me over it, and then nothing, not even an oops. I was so mad!!

Rick has an interview with the place he sent his resume to. Hoping it is a good thing. Word is 85% layoffs in October, the local camp is going to satellite, and bare bones crew----he will be laid off without a doubt. Hoping this works out. Unemployment will pay our bills, but insurance on the child that we pay for----is what has us in a tizzy. She has seen a Dr., or dentist 11 times in the last 6 weeks. Even with insurance we have paid out over $600 bucks. Can you imagine if she finds we have no insurance??? The kicker is her Mom is on SSDI, she is automatically eligible for medicaid, but the courts won't even allow it to be secondary insurance because she says it is an embarassment to the child.

Laura, I know your Moms pain, I held Chelsea in my arms while the vet give her the pink shot. She put her life on the line for me.....I wanted her to be loved to the very very end.......and beyond. Hugs to your Mom.....glad she has you.

Morning Girls.

Sitting here drinking a cup of Hot Cocoa. And it taste good. I'm not a coffee person. I love the smell of it, just not the taste of it.

Not much going on today. Lots of housework and laundry. I don't have to work till Monday so there is a lot I want to get done. I was looking at Mums yesterday and hopefully in the next few weeks I'll get some planted.

Morning Girls~

OMG I love the show GLEE! Anyone watching it? It is so funny, light, funny, cute, lots of singing, funny...and um, funny! They have shown the first episode twice so if you missed it, try hula.com or just see if you can pull it up from Fox (it is on the Fox network). I think ALL the violets would love it (meaning, it would appeal to so many people and interest levels). It is about a high school glee club, the cutest teacher (he is just a doll), the crusty cheer leading coach who goes against him (played by Jane Lynch...she is great in this role), and the drama that unfolds w/ the kids and staff. If you haven't heard about it...you will!

OK...no workout today. Susanne got home at 9:30 from practice and I stayed up and watched GLEE. I was planning on skipping today...just not yesterday. I will be back tomorrow doing 30 min on the eliptical!!!

Susanne's mom is in town this weekend. LOTS OF food. Tonight is a German dumpling, and porkloin!! I cant eat the porkloin, but I can do the meat. I just made one Monday (but we wont tell her that).

I tried to post from my phone last night but it didn't work...

Well, it went as well as it could have under the circumstances. I have two girls. Tara signed her contract Oct 2008 and Shannah signed her contract May 2009. Even though Tara signed her contract first I asked her first whether or not she was willing to change her date because I knew that Shannah was booked at a church and Tara was getting married on site. Unfortunately Tara has already printed out her SAVE the DATES and has already made travel arrangements so then she couldn't change her date. So I had to call Shannah and tell her that I had to cancel her wedding. She was devasted of course. I apologized profusely but that's all I could do. I offered her a generous discount if she was able to move it to another day but she couldn't. She was extremely sad but thankfully kept her cool and understood that it was a mistake. It makes me feel double awful, if you can understand.

Laura - how did it go with the puppies yesterday? My heart was breaking for you when I read that... Mine are all senior citizens too and know that one day soon they won't be with me... I just want to cry!

Good morning, Violets..

Ethan is here and we're just waiting until noon to go swimming.

Haydee, the Bobster reminded me last night that we had to change our wedding plans because the pastor had booked two weddings at the same time. We had to change our time to later in the day and we had already had our invitations printed. The church paid for the reprinting and luckily the reception was at the church and we could change the time with the caterer. Things happen, you just have to be flexible. Glad your duplicate was understanding.

Glee and Community are supposed to be the two new shows to watch this year. Anybody know when the regular time for Glee is?? The lady that is the coach played Julia's sister in Julie and Julia.. she was a hoot there too.

I woke up this morning thinking about things to do with the garden before next year. We are going out of town next weekend and will pass by a great garden place. Bob wants a new fountain and I need a couple more plants and art work. It's a never ending project!!

Ok.. here's the solution to our eating problems.. if we could just keep a high level of stress in our lives, the band will do the rest. Course I didn't say it would be a fun time.. just a losing weight time!

Off to do some laundry and clean a bit before we hit the pool.
