2Bslim 0 Posted October 3, 2005 Hi, I am going for my consultation with the surgeon tomorrow, Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers that he will accept me as a patient, and that I will get insurance approval. I only have about 80 pounds to lose, but to me that is alot when you get out of breath just bending over to tie your shoes, and get out of breath just walking up one flight of stairs. Don't get me wrong, I have sympathy for anyone overweight, and I am supportive of anyone that wants to get help with their weight. Edna Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
silkhair1 0 Posted October 3, 2005 Edna, Good luck tomorrow. I will keep my fingers crossed. I am also just starting my journey and it does not come fast enough. I have 100-110 to lose. NJChick 3 Posted October 3, 2005 Edna, I was so nervous when I went to my surgeon so I know exactly how you feel. They say I have 85 lbs to lose but its more like 95 - 100. 85 lbs puts me at the high range of the weight scale. Hang in there and just know that God is with you. HUGS !!!
