Biggest Loser Fall 09

So, 'tis that time again...

Will there be a Tara Machine this time? A Ronfather? A super-surprise winner? Can Bob -finally- win a season (no!)

The Biggest Loser returns Sept 15, let the rooting and snarking begin

my bet is that there will be men on bob's team that cry - A LOT

hoping daniel is w/jillian & they win.

now granted - I know it would be a little sappy - but was kinda hoping that Ron's other son (left home but made several appearances on the show) would be on this season - just ban Ron!

That would fulfill luluc's prediction - if he was on Bob's team!

KC - me, too! I loved him, and felt so badly for him. If he's there, I'm rooting for him.

That girl that "won" the spot at the finale was too giggly for me...but we'll see - she coulda just been nervous.

But, I really hope they're not like the More to Love chicks with the crying no one loves me BS...You're fat, not dead...it's okay.

Actually, Tara and her friend were like that last year. Crying because they hadn't had a date in forever...blah blah.

Now they're not like that!

Cause they're not fat now - blubbering babies in more way than one!

I'll be glued to the tv as I have every season! I haven't missed one yet! I read they are already casting for season 9 - to qualify, you have to be at least 100 lbs overweight.

Well, well. Looks like the producers finally figured out how to keep Bob from losing to Jillian :)

I wonder if he'll be able to do his whole Cult Of Bob with Jillian always in the way.

Oh, BTW -- I -love- Jillian's style

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
