Katlynn 0 Posted August 25, 2009 Another newbie here. I am having my lap-band surgery on October 7th. I'm very excited and am enjoying reading through this forum. Dr. Hitchcock at Malley Surgical Weight Loss Center in Kansas is my doctor. I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning from your experience and success! Katlynn 0 Posted August 25, 2009 Thanks Plain! I am very motivated and wish my surgery date was sooner than October  Question for any one. I see people mentioning keeping a journal after their surgery. Would this be a food/calorie style journal? Thanks

lessofm3 0 Posted August 25, 2009 Katlynn, I don't know what journal you're speaking of, but I do keep track of my daily food intake for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you get the realize band they have a website for you to log your daily food intake, as well as recipes, and it will allow you to also keep track of your exercise. There is another site to log your food and that is FitDay.com
Katlynn 0 Posted September 8, 2009 I'm very excited! I was able to get my surgery moved up to September 30th instead of October 7th! I start my 2 week diet September 16th!
