blackcherry2002 5 Posted August 24, 2009 Ok it's not even a normal issue of eating too fast or it being too dry. It was actually very juicy and marinated and went down fine. However I'm getting this thing where about an hour later or so, I get pain in my chest/shoulders...kind of like it was after surgery. Like gassy uncomfortable. Am I going crazy or does it happen to anyone else?
blackcherry2002 5 Posted August 24, 2009 K maybe I'm just having a gassy day. Anyone else get like that? I just ate mainly ground beef, quite a small serving as opposed to what I"m used to and now I'm getting that upper shoulder pain and burping like crazy. Does this happen if you wait to long in between meals?
coloradobanding 5 Posted August 25, 2009 I got that feeling a lot, but only when eating chicken and ground beef (just like you). I was told that it was having a hard time going down, and although not stuck, VERY uncomfortable. I couldn't eat either without discomfort until I had my band unfilled. I would suggest chewing until it's almost liquid and see if that solves the problem.
ParrotheadCathy 0 Posted August 25, 2009 I have a longer time between lunch and dinner than I'd like and I swear to you, on Monday through Friday, by 6:00 pm, I start belching like I'm in a beer drinking contest, LOL. Hateful feeling, too. I can commiserate, for sure!
