startin09 0 Posted August 24, 2009 I tore my meniscus about 3 years ago and since then have gained lots of weight (about to change thanks to band!!). but I'd still like to start on a path to exercising that will help me but not hurt my knee. Anyone else have bad joints and ideas? Thanks!!
startin09 0 Posted August 24, 2009 i should also mention that I have tried and tried to master the elliptical, however I still cannot do it for more than two minutes before I'm completely out of breath/feel like I want to pass out. I'm definitely not there yet.
Sue Magoo 71 Posted August 24, 2009 Hi: Check out this website and see if a trikke is a good fit for you. It is low/no impact and the best part is that it is alot of fun! Forget about the one with the motor - won't help you accomplish your weight loss goals. www.trikketampa.com Let me know if you have questions about it. I've been riding since April 2008 and I love it! Sue
banded07-n-ohio 1 Posted August 25, 2009 You should ask your doctor what he suggests. I too have bad knee's due to OA and my doctor suggested walking with very good shoes and Water arobics..
