I arrived at 6:30 am for 7:30 surgery...out the door at 10:15 am and home before noon. I personally had a wonderful experience the day of surgery. No barium swallow.

My surgery was 8/11 3:30pm arrival for 4:30pm procedure. Went into surgery around 5:45 and did barium swallow at 7:30pm and left at 8:30pm.

I was due in at 6:15am for a 7:30am surgery. I went home at about... 1:30ish. I'm almost 3 weeks post-op and I've never done a barium swallow.
