My name is Cindi and I am a new member. I have been visiting since having my surgery in May and figured it was time to become a member. I have learned a lot from these boards and figured I am far enough into my own journey now that maybe I can be of some help to someone just starting out.

Thanks. Whenever I get discouraged that I am not losing fast enough I try to remind myself about the last time I lost over 30 pounds in just over three months. Never!!!

Even though I am having too learn to eat all over again and change my attitudes about food. I love my band!!

Congratulations on your weight loss! I have just scheduled my surgery for Sept 9th, so it is very encouraging to me to hear that others who have recently gone through it are happy with the choice and having good results!

I've been reading these boards for months, too! It's a great place to come for information and emotional support. Congrats on your weight loss!! I was just banded this past Friday, and your story is very inspiring to me. :sad:
