I have an NSV!

For the first time in more than 10 (maybe 15) years, I gave myself a pedicure this morning, including toe polish and all!! Even my 13yr old son got excited...........bless his heart, he has polished them in the past!

:whoo: :whoo: :whoo: :whoo: :whoo: :whoo: :whoo:

Excellent Ms. Vicky! Now, you go and start your own NSV Tracking Thread so that your NSVs don't get lost.

It is so very important to keep track of them. They are what give shape and color to your scale victories!

and have your FFM checked!

That's what's scary, Vines! My (most recent) body fat % at 187.5 pounds 39.6%! That's almost 75 pounds of fat! No WAY I weigh 112 underneath all this. NO WAY! That's way underweight. I'm not sure what's up with the body fat thing. It stays in the upper 30's. And it's been as high as 45.7% at 235.5 pounds (FFM of 128.5 pounds). That's why I've been back and forth with a goal weight. For now, I'm happy with 165, but who knows what my body fat content will be at that size?

Am I doing the FFM correctly?

I don't know if you are doing it right or not. I don't know what device you are using.

And no way are you 75pounds of fat, you are F-A-B!

Curves has a body fat % machine you hold onto and it gives you the percentage of body fat you have. So 39.6% of 187.5 pounds is about 75 pounds, leaving my FFM, I guess? at 112.

I don't know, but thanks! I'll work on feeling as F-A-B as you think I am!!! :) Really, thanks!

You know, I'm looking at your pix, and there is no way you are at 39.6% body fat, no way.

I vote their machine is broken. that or you are really dehydrated.

This pic was taken at around 190 (ain't that a cute pose? ugh I don't like this pic) back in Jan 2006, and as soon as I get my standing-up-in-that-outfit-at-the-May-lunch pic from Kim, I'll post it, too. It's less than 10 pounds difference. I totally don't understand the body fat %. I drink my Water, I promise! Thanks Mary!

Okay, so this is May 2006, with less than a 10 pounds loss, and about 10 inches gone due to exercise. I weigh about 182 with a body fat of about 38.5%. Even I see the difference. Cool!

Oh, and the girls are Angie's...so sweet!

Kathy, the machines that you just hold or step on evidently depend greatly on adequate hydration, and your are supposed to be hydrated about the same every time you use them (or something). There's other tests you can have done, the one that comes to mind is the one where they dunk you in the Water. Not so convenient as the one you hold, but it's supposed to be more accurate.

Can't wait to see the new pic!

Holy Moly! Help, it's still so huge!!!!...okay, P'nut resized it. Thanks!!!!!!

I posted this in the Gone for Good Club and P'nut put them side by side, but you can still see it here. That 1X shirt is too big. I wish they had it in an XL. I tried on a few XL tops from "the other side" at Dress Barn Woman and they were too tight. I can wear a Woman's XL.
