Getting banded on 8-19-09

ANYONE ELSE GETTING BANDED ON 8-19-09 ,I HAVE BEEN ON THE DIET NOW FOR 8 DAYS AND LOST 21 POUNDS I WAS SHOCKED .THIS LIVER REDUCING DIET WORKS GOOD BUT THE FIRST WEEK IS HARD , I HAVE A PROTIEN shake AND 4 ONCES OF fruit FOR Breakfast THEN A PROTIEN SHAKE FOR lunch THEN FOR dinner I HAVE 4 ONCES OF COOKED PROTIEN WITH 4 OUNCES OF VEGGIES AND THATS IT NO SNACKING OR GRAZING ,DRINK LOTS OF Water AND CRYSTAL LITE AND NOW AT 7-ELEVEN THEY HAVE CRYSTAL LITE SLURPEES AND THERE THE BOMB!!!!!!

I just started my pre-op diet today, surgery is on August 26th. You are almost there!! Congratulations.

THANK YOU for the Crystal Light Slurpee suggestion... I think I will take a walk up to 7-11 for one!! I forgot about that...

I'm getting banded on August 18th. I didn't have any kind of pre-op diet. Just a liquid diet the day before the surgery.

Good for you!!! That is a great weight loss.

I am also getting banded on the 19th. I have decided on the Realize brand of band.

You will have to let me know how you are doing. Good luck and keep up the good work.
