tjdiamondz 0 Posted August 11, 2009 Hi, I'm newly banded as of July 29th! My surgeon was Dr Billy and he and everyone in his practice is excellent. So far I've lost 21 lbs and I'm a little nervous. I'm currently on the liquid diet; however I'm scared that once I start eating "real" food again that my weight loss will stop. I know this sounds crazy, right? isaviolinist 11 Posted August 11, 2009 I think a lot of people feel that way! You may gain a pound or two or three even when you start on real food, but just stick to Proteins and healthy choices, and you'll continue to lose. Congrats on your 21 pounds! What a great start :w00t:

greytz 4 Posted August 11, 2009 You are doing fabulous and I felt the same way about eating solids. So much so that I kept putting it off and stayed in the mushie stage. When I told my surgeon that she was like, no way you have to begin solids. So I did and I am still losing weight just like she said I would. I just stick to the guidelines and don't cheat. It will work for you.
