Great! So I just keep paying them my money every month and I will lose weight - got it!

And don't tell 'em you even considered the band...they'll fall on you like wolves on a wounded gazelle.

Ya know, I'm scared to even venture a guess why a goat would be tied to a trampoline.

Ok THREE donkeys and a skunk for your brother. Does he REALLY have 80's hair? (sigh...blink blink)

Yes, yes he does. More Quiet Riot than Billy Ray Cyrus.

Honey,

That's a question best left up to your surgeon.

Well, he is impossible to get ahold of. He is somewhere in MX! I thought I could just come here and get all of my questions answered!

I cried, my parents gave me the money for the band and I had it put in 3 days later! Now I want it out! I just want to pig out like I used to - this band sux, I want to be debandeded.

We really did have a possum on our back porch but that was a few years ago. I did see a goat tied to a trampoline earlier this week. Will that work?

Meh, sure. What the hell.

Freeze-dried elephant sperm. Seriously.

It'll be rather lumpy in a gelatenous way at first, but you'll get used to it.

i though donkey sperm had the highest protiein content? or is it great dane?

Okay, I am totally baffled. Honest. I'm watching that evil food Network.... I really wanna know just WTH are COLA NUTS? I'm scared. I drink Diet Coke. What am I ingesting? Will it hurt the band if I ever get one?? Maybe I had a band already and the cola nuts stole it. Please answer. Soon.

Anyone? Anybody here??? Did the cola nuts get you??

Great! Where do I get the elephant sperm? Can I order it online?

Oh, that leads to another, um, question. Should I swallow, when, uh, you know my guy, uh. . . How many calories should I set aside each day? Will it get "stuck" in the band???

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
