Hmmm... okay but do the dirty donkey shows get me more dinero? It might be worth it. I have some disinfectant spray I can use beforehand.

Plain can hook you up with this new product called aspray. It's what got him pregnant - good stuff apparantly - only a few small forest creatures were harmed in the making of each 1 oz.

I wanna know: If you're going the "donkey route" in MX, how are the fills??

Okay, wait... you talkin' donkey "fills" or band fills? Cuz hey, if he can push my chicken strips down, I'll be a happy buck-toothed camper.

Crap, I was afraid of that.

What if I swallow some spermicide first?

Well, that might work, but be sure and have the spermicide with some more extra crispy chicken.

Just add Kool-Aid and Everclear - no worries. Be sure to strain out the fur. It's wicked bad for the band.

Oh gawd, fur balls and the band. I had to quit licking my kitty for that very reason. Now he pisses on all my stuff cuz he really misses it, but I just couldn't take the heaving and hair clumps. Had a few episodes at the mall that I just can't talk about.

No, drink the pickle juice with the spermicide and that will push the chicken strips down.

Dirty donkey shows are definitely worth more dinero. The disenfectant may hurt your band. You might want to see your surgeon before you try something like that! However, the pickle juice might come in handy as a disinfectant and since you are already eating pickles the juice obviously won't hurt your band.

What if I just swallow straight everclear? Heck, may even be able to hold it in my mouth "during," but does it burn the donkey? Don't need him getting all kicky and stuff... I don't have that many teeth left.

WARNING:

Never, ever, not even once, mix pickle juice and donkeys. It will cause the donkeys to learn to type and post crazy things on LBT. Further, you will never get pregnant unless you convince Ronald McDonald to feature donkey/possum burgers in his Mexico restaurants. Stay clear of the ponky juice!

Okay, wait... NOT wanting to get pregnant -- ESPECIALLY if my kid will be half ass-- er, donkey. I mean, could you imagine the questions at the local PTA??

KTORK - I don't know who you think YOU are but nobody appreciates a know it all.!

Dirty donkey shows are definitely worth more dinero.

Oh really and what makes you the expert?

The disenfectant may hurt your band. You might want to see your surgeon before you try something like that!

What do you have a medical degree now - what qualifies you to decide whether this is sound advice?

However, the pickle juice might come in handy as a disinfectant and since you are already eating pickles the juice obviously won't hurt your band.

Again - I don't think she ever asked for your sarcasm - if you do not have something constructive to say - get a life, a possum or some chicken lips of your own dammit!

Everclear is always a good choice.

Well, then I don't need the donkey to do his "plunger action," do I? Or are you saying it will help him shove down the chicken while not getting himself "stuck" in my band? I mean, could you imagine me having to go into KC's emergency room AGAIN with that problem? Shoot, the first time was embarassin' enough.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
