MrsLadyHawk 5 Posted August 8, 2009 Ok, so my father went through a mid life crisis or something and came home with a brand new Harley Dyna Superglide awhile back ago. I have been in LOVE ever since. I got to steer it a few days ago (I had to lean around him, highly uncomfortable btw), and I had no clue what I was doing. I never learned how to ride a bike, I can't drive anything with a clutch, and I have an incredibly short attention span. I know that it will be a couple of years before I will ever be able to actually drive one, but does anyone have any tips on how to learn???
MyKdsDad 1 Posted August 15, 2009 Actually, yes! If your state offers it, as Texas does, take the Motorcycle Safety Course. You spend a day in the classroom and a day on a bike. In Texas, the company that gives the course also has to furnish the bikes. You have to have a helmet, gloves and lace up boots. When you finish the two day course you will be sure whether you want to be a rider or a driver. Good luck and keep the rubber side down.
