Sorry, but I have had no nausea. I did have a scopolamine patch behind my ear before and after surgery. Have you been given zofran or phenergan? Or Reglan? All of those usually help. Are you getting liquids down at all?

Erin -

I hope your nausea is improving. Some people seem to struggle with it more than others.

If your new medication doesn't take care of it, let your doctor know. It's his/her job to help you, not only get the band, but through the whole process. Don't be afraid to keep calling if you are having problems. Some nausea is normal for some people, but if you feel yours is above and beyond what you should be experiencing, keep letting him/her know. He/She can't help and try new things if not aware. Don't feel you are bugging them, this is what they are getting paid for.

Hope you feel better soon!!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
