Jayniel 0 Posted August 7, 2009 I was banded in 2005, lost some weight but not all I wanted to, and now have started gaining again. Banded in Mexico, so no support in the US, and I think that is part of my problem. Trying to get back on track before gaining back before I gain back ALL the weight, and start losing until I reach my goal. Will appreciate advice from anyone with same experience or anyone that can help. Thanks.

Brockbabe82 0 Posted August 7, 2009 I agree, try finding a local fill doctor, and see where you can go from there. Good luck to you, sending positive vibes your way.
ParrotheadCathy 0 Posted August 7, 2009 I don't know where you are, but there is a chain called Fill Centers USA that has offices in lots of places. You can go to their website and put in your zip code and they'll give you the address(es) of the closest center. Many surgeons offer support groups that are free. Check out the surgeons near where you live and see if they have a support group you can go to. Journal everything you eat. So many people say that it what has brought them back on track. You can do it on a sheet of paper or use one of several free websites for this purpose.
Jayniel 0 Posted August 7, 2009 Cathy, thanks for the tip! I am in Las Vegas NV, and there is a Fill Center here! Also, thanks for the journaling tip. Jaynie
Chris61 0 Posted August 8, 2009 If you get in for a fill I would ask them to pull out all the Fluid and see how much is there. hhave them put it back in and adjust with more fluid. Also they might want to do an x-ray to make sure the band is in the right position before they give you a fill. Good luck we are all here to help and support you.
