Good Morning Peeps...

Karla you are up early on a Saturday - my dogs woke me up or I would still be asleep.. You ar getting your camera today right - you are going to become a phototoghaper like Phyl :0)

Phyl Ya I guess living in the RV that long that close to Earl would be hard LOL - I don't know if I could do it no matter how much I loved someone - tha't too close quarter for me .... Ya over cooked fish isn't good - I have over cooked mine sometimes - I think it's why I like the catfish from Winco instead of Coscto - it's thick and 15 minute is just about the right time to bake it..

By the time I finished making beds - wiping down light switches etc I was hungry but in no mood to cook so my dinner consisted of popcorn & ice cream (sf) calorie wise I was ok for the day but nutritionally - omg terrible and I have leg workout this morning - going to have to make myself eat some kind of protein..

Well today gym - dogs - winco - costco - home to put all the food up ;0)

Phyl I will pick you up tomorrow about 2 ok.. Is Earl going to come to the house for dinner tomorrow nite - have you figured out your schedule ;0)..Well gotta go look for some Protein - I am going to need it for gym this morning

It's really not Earl that gets on my nerves.... and that's not the phrase I am really looking for... it's just that it will be nice to get home to some open space! My recliner, big screen TV, different scenery out my nice big living room windows, etc.

I am still struggling with the schedule! I have a dilemma tomorrow... really sweet German couple down the street is having a get-together tomorrow at 4pm. This is the only one they've had this winter, and I know they are leaving in a few days. I guess I can just send Earl. But then I either have to drive myself to the airport and then to your house, or have him (stay sober) and come and pick me up later. Or I could ask them if it would be okay if I brought you two with me. That way we could just "make an appearance" and then go on to your place.

Monday plans sound good... I may drive to Melvyn's with someone else or have Earl drop me off. So far he is saying he isn't going to come over to dinner "with al those ladies"!! But maybe I can talk him in to doing that Monday. We'll see.... But that's as far as my processing of the week's schedule has gone.

Phyl, I bet you are getting just about as excited as I am about being away from HUBBY for a week.... yueahhh-haw!!! Janet; I forgot, do you drink MILK at your house? If not I`ll get some Skim milk when I get there, its what I have in my Tea and coffee.< /span>

Candice... I keep forgetting to ask what is your preference in wine??? I think you drink red, right??? So far I have a bottle of cab and a couple of other reds.

Nah... I'm not that excited about being away from Earl. As much as I complain about him.... sometimes.... he IS my comfort zone!! LOL

Doesn't feel right to be away. That's why I've not yet decided how many nights I'll sleep over and how many I will come home! He won't want me using a lot of gas to go back and forth, though!!

Janet, camera is tomorrow, today was work at the nursery. The boss has been great about having one of the young pups lift stuff so I don't have to. It was a glorious day, in the 50's. I think I got a little sun burn on my face. I even groomed up a bit for work. Usually it is a pony tail and no make up. But I decided that it is one of the few places I see REAL people so decided to put on a bit of a face. Boss said I looked great. Couldn't eat Breakfast or much lunch. Was really tight. So had a few bites of kashi and yogurt for breakfast, and about 1/4 of an apple and about 1/3 oz of cheese, wasn't even hungry. Thats what I like about the nursery.

Well pork chops in the oven and Alexa is making mashed potatoes so I'll have a spoon full. I am going to splurge tonight and have a little ice cream. I worked all day and didn't eat much, so I'll be okay calorie wise.

Phyl - you have me confused - I thought Earl was going to the lunch on Monday - I thought it was friends of your celebrating something.. That's why I said would meet you there.. If you want we will pick you up on Monday..

It's up to Candice if she want's to make a pit stop at your place after the airport - She's leaving the house like 3 a.m. - don't know how tired she will be cuz by the time she lands in PS she will have been up 12 hrs traveling..

Just need head count for dinner really -- Hell Earl loves hanging out w/chicks ;0)

Candice When are you going to NO - I am so jealous I have always wanted to go there - I would love to meet Denise - I think she's the coolest...

Karla - Glad you didn't lift - Dinner sounds good - I'm hungry.. I haven't eaten today (we couple bite of prime rib) but no meal - I'm headed to the kitchen now...

No... bunch of ladies going out to lunch... 14 plus us. One of the ladies who lives here year round has her 75th birthday this summer when most of us are gone home. So someone decided we should all go out to lunch to Celebrate before we all leave.

Earl says he's not coming for dinner tomorrow night. He's going to stay here and eat with the Germans and the rest of the neighbors. I can get him to come and pick me up later. Party tonight was fairly mellow. We were home by 7:30 p.m.

Well got the rest of the house done - just waiting to go pick up Phyl & Candice... Candice said in phone call that she had to leave like 3:30 - she's going to have a long day - she doesn't get here till 3 p.m. our time.. Well I guess she's gaining 3 hrs ;0)

Ok Phyl I understand - I think maybe Candice & I will sit at our own table since we aren't really apart of this group.. Sorta feel like intruders - what's is called - omg here goes the brain again - can't find the word - oh ya Party Crashers LOL..

I hope everyone arrived safe and sound, hugs all around from me!! You will have to tell me about your shopping trips. Although Janet will have to clear out more closet space (Sorry, I couldn't resist, But shopping is better than eating!!!)

Was able to fall asleep right away last night even with the time change, but Molly got up multiple times and just was a pain. I guess that is my payback for making her go on a walk. She thinks she is such a princess. Her fat little butt just drug along on the walk. Hopefully now that the weather is getting nicer I will get out there more. We hit almost 60 yesterday!!! whoho

Got my camera and it seems pretty easy to work, down load pictures, etc. Janet I sent a test picture to your email, so let me know if it shows up, then I'll send you all pictures of the quilts I finished.

Good Morning, I hope you all had a glorious sleep. Yesterday was beautiful again weather wise. I'm glad the picture worked, Tell Candice I'll take some pics of my quilts and send them in emails.

Nothing much happening at school, we are giving CRT tests (national norma reference tests) so I don't really teach all week. Working on homework.

Had a little melt down about Elyse and the pregnancy yesterday. Stopped by the accountant to pay her what I owed for doing the taxes and since I claimed Elyse on my taxes she owed Federal. So ended up writing ANOTHER check. Had I no claimed her and she had to pay, it would have been her paying it. It just got to me. Then my eldest called and shared a little about her frustrations trying to conceive (all in 3rd person naturally). So I just can't of felt buried by it all.

Oh my mother had to call and remind me that I missed her birthday. I would have liked to say that I did it on purpose, but I truely spaced it. I'm sure Frued (sp) would have a hayday with forgetting.

Hi!! It's been a busy and fun week! Hope you had a good week, Karla!!

Cloudy and gloomy and very cool here today... 64 degrees at 1pm. Think Candice and Janet are off to the street fair at College of the Desert today, but unable to reach them by phone...... AGAIN!! Janet's cell phone just always says her voice mail isn't set up. So, listened to that recording for the umpteenth time and left a message on her home phone. That's been the routine for the last four days! I can't seem to keep up with their comings and goings. Oh, well! I tried!

 

Went to a bar to hear Candice sing karaoke Friday night. Fun!! She has such a beautiful voice. But we had to listen to two rounds of frogs to hear her sing twice!! It was going on 11 pm by then so we headed home after her 2nd song rather than wait through another round. There was only one other person, a guy, who had a voice worth listening to IMHO!! And some of the other singers were 3 sheets to the wind by then, too.

Linda left yesterday morning.... hope you had a good trip home, if you're here!! Smooth and uneventful! Candice, same for you tomorrow night!

Good Morning Peeps

It's Monday - Oh boy am I pooped.. It's been a good week but a long one - Trying to originize everything and everyone ;0) and think of intereting things to do, since I live here I think there's nothing to see or do ;0)

Sunday pickup up Candice - Monday had a nice lunch w/Phyl and her friends then picked up Linda home and dinner - Tuesday went to El Paseo shopped and had lunch (only bought bras ;0) Wed went to Temecula and had a great late breakfast - shopped got olive oil & a dress (jam world) drove home dinner - had a great dinnet at Phyl's (salmon) - Thursday - took Candice to Ross (Linda was w/Phyl Ipad & bead shopping) she loved the store - then met back up with Linda - shopped at Marshalls then of to costco for more booze then lunch at my fav mexican restaurant and too many margarita's - Linda & Candice buzzed pretty good - so we cancelled the night time street fair - I think I was in bed by 9 that night - Don't remember what we did friday during the day - but Friday night Candice singing at the Kareoke bar - omg she was the only good singer - one other guy but the other omg terrible - left around midnite - couldnt take anymore - Sat took Linda back to airport - Stopped by quilt shop - Candice really trying to get me to be a quilted LOL - gotta see if my sewing machine even works - came home and vegged I really was bushed by then - Yesterday went to the show - saw Lincoln Lawyer only napped a little good movie - home and vegged again and was in bed by 9:30 now work today..

Candice & Phyll will hang out today I think since I have work - then tonite take Candice to airport..

Hi girls; Especially KARLA, I've missed you girl!! So sorry I havn't posted much...like Phyl and Janet said... its been a busy busy week.

I have loved California, but have to admit - I am missing my Bridget girl... although Bear, Angel and Bella have kept me laughing.

Poor Janet had to go back to work today... for the REST.....LOL

She's been such a Peach... taking us all over the place and showing off her Desert Paradise... the trip of a lifetime..

ANd best of all got to hang with my Girlfriends!!
