vikki1012 0 Posted August 5, 2009 Anyone workout using sports active from the Wii. I've had it for almost a week now and I love it. Much better workout than the fit. I felt the burn in my legs after day 2. Has anyone lost any weight?
Blaze21 5 Posted August 5, 2009 It's a great workout. Here's another thread about it here: http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f81/ea-sports-active-personal-trainer-wii-95528/

knowgr8rlove 0 Posted August 8, 2009 My boyfriend and daughter went in together and bought me a Wii and the Wii Active for my birthday on July 18. My surgery date was July 2, 2009 and the timing was perfect. All three of us are using it and having fun. I like the personal traininer aspect and the fact that it changes things up from day to day so one workout is never exactly the same as the day before. It also tells me exactly how many calories I burn so I give it a huge thumbs up!
Padanelle 2 Posted August 8, 2009 Forgive me if this is a silly question, but I am technically challenged. I have been reading the posts on Wii, and am a bit confused. Is the Personal Trainer part of the EA Sports Active Program? What's the difference between Wii Fit?
knowgr8rlove 0 Posted August 8, 2009 Not a silly question. Here's my take. Wii Fit is pretty broad reaching with lots of games and things to do, and also pretty pricey. Wii Active is basically a fitness regimen that you can tailor to you. Bob Greene, Oprah's famous trainer is the source of the information, and then you pick a trainer who demonstrates the exercises and then coaches you through doing them correctly. At the end of your workout it tells you how many calories you burned and how that compares to the projected amount. (the harder you work the more you burn, and so far, I've surpassed the projected amount every time.) I think the Wii Fit has more choices, but for what I needed the Wii Active is perfect.
