Hi another newbie here

Hi well I am just starting my lap band journey. I heard about the lap band 3 years a go but it was not avalable where I live at the time. Now our surgical weight loss center has been doing the lap band for about 2 years, so I went to the seminar may 13 2009. I had to do 6 weeks dr. supervised weight loss. Then met with cordinator that reveiwed and okayed all my paperwork. Had my psyc eval. July 20th. Now I am waiting for the committee to okay me, (they meet Aug. 6) then I will get first appt. with the surgeon.

I have been overweight all my life. I have tried so many thing to loss weight that never work. I really believe that the lap band will be the tool that will help me take back control of my life.

I have been married for almost 26 years the the greatest man anyone could ask for and I have a terrific 11 year old son. I am doing this for all or us.
