Anndallei 0 Posted September 27, 2005 Help!! I've come down with a cold and a painful sore throat. I usually take Alka Seltzer Plus Nose and Throat because it works well for me. La_madam 20 Posted September 27, 2005 if it were me I would not take any alka seltzer,I was told no more carbonation and it is not worth the risk.. there are many other cold remedies out there I personally prefer Tylenol liquid sore throat and cold medicine, it works great.
