soocalchic 1,087 Posted August 2, 2009 Are you on clear or full liquids?
abingdongirl 0 Posted August 2, 2009 You can always make a Soup and drain off the juices for your broth. and sugar free Jello is considered a clear liquid too... if you can have cream Soups the campbells microwavable cups of soup are very thin consistency... hope that helps
sako127 0 Posted August 2, 2009 (edited) Hi. I was banded on July 8th, 2009. Between sips of Atkins Advantage, sugar free pops and homemade vegetable broths, the two weeks were good ones for me. At my 2 week checkup, my doctor started me on mushy food and my weight loss slowed to a crawl. I wish I were back on liquids! Good luck! RestlessMonkey 7 Posted August 2, 2009 You need to follow your surgeon's post op diet to the letter, and if the diet is unclear, call and ask if you can have creamy Soups. They are all different and tailor them to match their skill level, their patient's, their experience with recovery/complications etc, and so on. So we can't really advise you, or at least not safely. Your doc's office should make that call.
Renee HW 0 Posted August 3, 2009 I was also banded on July 29th and my surgeon had me start strained cream Soups on the third day. However, it is always best to follow your surgeon's instructions explicitly.
