bobbalou 0 Posted July 30, 2009 Hi there. I was banded on 7/13. I have lost a total of 7.7 lbs since surgery, but 20 from the beginning of the liquid diet prior to surgery. I have not had a fill yet. MommyOf1 1 Posted July 31, 2009 I have a surgery date of October 8. I am so happy I cry about it regularly. I am a self-payer, unfortunately, but I believe it will be so worth it. We will have over a 3rd of the cost saved by the surgery date and borrow the rest. I know it's a big expense, but when you put it in perspective, it's really not, it's MY LIFE.
