I joined Lapbandland on 09/22 (Thursday)

Hi Everybody!

Well, thanks to all of you and your many posts, I was encouraged to go through with this procedure and am so happy I did! I was fearful of the pain and unknown complications. The doctor told me it would be 1 1/2 hour surgery but he did it in 45 minutes! I had no complictions and very little pain - really just gas pains is all I felt. Fortunately, those only lasted a couple of days. I am back to work today and can do most things. I am a little more tired than usual, but, hey, I can accept that!

I am so looking forward to the future now. I have a much more positive outlook. I lost 14 lbs pre-op and am anxious to see how I will do now.

Cat so glad you made it through your surgery with no problems. Sounds like your bouncing back quickly!! Take an extra break everynow and then. I'm wishing yo lots of success with your weightloss. Welcome to band land!!!
