Im more worried about being w/out water ALL day tomorrow since my surgery is not until 145pm. Yikes! 09Freedom 0 Posted July 23, 2009 I wish all the best. I'm sure you will do fine. I was banded the 21st. This site has helped so much, I'm going thru all what I've read aboue. The port site is very sore. Fortunately I've not experienced the gas that alot of people have had. I hope it doesnt develop . Also my stomach is growling and rumbling which I expected. They will hook you up to some IVs with fluids an hour or so before surgery and that will make you hydrated again. You guys are all going to do great!
