Feels like there is a rock in my chest

I have this feeling like there is a rock or lump in my chest, not all of the time, sometimes it feels like it is trying to come up my throat. I have tried to track "when" it happens, but there does not seem to be any "reason". Like right now, I have not eaten yet, but the feeling is there. After I eat, it might go away. Can anyone tell me anything?????:smile:

Well I had the same feeling and I have been banded almost 2wks. It would seem that the port is attached to muscles which are attached to my rib cage per the doc. So as they heal there seems to be presure.

Also try to think of it like this there were 5 pieces of equipment in your abdomen area and they were poking and proding around in there. I would talk to your doctor for sure if it persist or gets worse. But for me I think it was all part of the healing process.
