momof4 0 Posted September 26, 2005 Congratulations! I quit smoking cold turkey almost 9 years ago. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do--but I did it. Now, I get a headache any time I'm around someone who is smoking. Weird huh? Anyway, WAY TO GO!!!! Tricia H
tambonzjo 7 Posted September 26, 2005 I know I need to quit. I have a new boyfriend and he has never smoked a day in his life. They say that 9/29 is a good day per the Farmers Almanac? Ok....I want to do it...anyother smokers out there want to support each other in this decision???
Mrs Sabre 1 Posted September 26, 2005 Congratulations! That's truly awesome! After smoking 1+ packs a day for 21 years, I quit Dec. 27, 1998 using the Nicoderm patch and Zyban. I'd be lying if I said I'm never tempted, but I treat it like any other addiction; I know I'm just one puff away from a pack-a-day habit, and I just don't do it. God Bless! Anwyn 0 Posted September 28, 2005 Congratulations Jessiebear! I'm so proud of you!! Tackling your weight and smoking at the same time... that's ambition! Can I give you my mom's phone number so that you can tell her that it IS possible to quit smoking?
