Did we go to the moon?

Recommended Posts

I saw a documentary on tru TV a couple of nights ago about whether the USA actually sent astronauts to the moon back in the late 1960's and early 1970's during the Apollo era. Although I've always believed we did, since I watched it live on TV (telling my age...LOL), but they had a lot of convincing evidence that says it was all a hoax. What do you guys think? Did we or didn't we?

HHmm, I'm thinking we did, otherwise we wouldn't have made all the missions afterwards, sent equipment to Mars or have a space station with a dozen+ people up there. Funny thing is though, I guess hollywood had to replace the footage because NASA erased it...so now it's touched up....and that almost sounds like an excuse for not having the original to scrutinize for originality. There are always conspiracy fanatics though that will make something out of nothing. I do have to say though that the equipment they took to the moon looks pretty cheesy when you look at it through our technologically advanced hindsight!

The video they showed on the documentary was the original supposedly taken on the moon. One of the many things they pointed out was the American flag was waving in the wind. THERE IS NO WIND ON THE MOON! Also, you could always see the astronauts like they had a spot light on them, when they were in the shadows of the little space ship thing. Many other things, but those really stood out.

I didn't even know about NASA erasing the tapes. I just saw on Geraldo that only 1 tape was lost, and it was found in Australia. Go figure.

Of coarse we didn't go to the moon. They made it all up to cover up the fact that fact that JFK was really killed by the defense industry (who also didn’t want us to figure out that the world is really flat). Elvis knew the truth and was going to tell all so they were going to kill him too, he went into hiding by faking his own death.

I just love these conspiracy theories. There is always somebody out there that can twist the truth just enough to make people believe that the theories are true. The one thing the conspiracy theorists can never address is how could they have gotten so many people to perpetuate the lies for all of the years? There were thousands of people that worked on the Apollo missions and nobody credible has ever come forward to say that it was hoax. The best real life story about the hoax was when Buzz Aldrin punched the lead crackpot (Bart Sibrel) in the face when the guy accosted him and said he never set foot on the moon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUI36tPKDg4

There is a exponentially more scientific evidence that we did go to the moon than that we did not. I think the "evidence" put forth by conspiracy theorists is somewhat simplistic and easily disproven. There's plenty of information, research, and simple experiments available, if more people would only search for knowledge rather than be led.

Seriously, it really is laughable that people actually believe in them. Even our sworn enemies at the time (the Soviets) confirmed that we made it to the moon. Of course the real conspiracy theorists take that argument and say that all the world’s leaders are actually in cahoots and that they are part of the lie too. So now we not only have the 400k Americans that were in the US Space Administration lying about it but we also have the Kremlin lying about it as well.

P.S.

Thanks Tapshoes ^_^

1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
