ktobebanded09 0 Posted July 19, 2009 Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well in their journey. We are all in this together. I was banded on 7/7/09 and i'm doing well 12 days post op. I couldn't say that about a week ago as i thought to myself what the heck did i do. I want to lose about 80-88lbs. I have lost 15lbs since i started this journey on 7/1/09, i am thankful for that although my clothes still fit the same. I am married with four daughters triplets and a toddler. My family is very supportive through this journey. I pray that i get through this without any complications, setbacks or distractions. Wishing everyone the best...

Padanelle 2 Posted July 19, 2009 I was banded on Jun 8 at NYU. It took about 2 weeks before the swelling went down and I started to no longer feel like a beachball with arms and legs. I'm 6 wks post op, and since I started the 2 wk pre-op diet I have lost 2.5'' in from my bust, 3.5'' from my waist, and 3"in from my hips. Hang in there. You'll start to see the results soon enough. ktobebanded09 0 Posted July 20, 2009 hey guys thanks for the encouragement. I'm trying to hang in there, dealing with alot of ....well i'm sure everyone is dealing with it....GAS....oh my gosh it's ridiculous. Some nights i look as if i'm about to have another set of triplets. I started back at the gym today. I did the treadmill for 35 mins at 3.0mph, i was proud of myself. I'm having this sensation on my left side where the port is. It feels like a cramp (the type you get when you eat/drink and go running/swimming). I feel it after meals after drinking and movement. I don't know if it's gas or just the port area healing. I'm doing well otherwise. Hope everyone is hanging in there and losing weight regardless if it's ounces or pounds and takes weeks or days....the goal is to lose...
