HolliJ 24 Posted July 17, 2009 Has anyone tried these syrups in their Protein Shakes? Someone told me about them last week, so I bought some online. Ok, I might have gone a little overboard... I bought: - Caramel (Dolce) - Cherry (DaVinci) - Dulce de Leche (Oscar's) - German chocolate (DaVinci) - Hazelnut (Dolce) - Peppermint Patty (DaVinci) - Praline (DaVinci) - Raspberry (Dolce) - strawberry (Dolce) There are a lot more flavors, as well. Including shipping, each bottle averaged $6.63 (25oz bottles). Everyone else they seemed to average $7-$8 per bottle. Or if they were cheaper, shipping was expensive or the flavors were limited. There is NOTHING in the nutritional label except 10mg of sodium for the DaVinci Syrup. Not sure about Dolce, but I'm sure it's the same. Bought them here: coffee Flavoring Syrup
HolliJ 24 Posted July 17, 2009 I don't have them yet, so I don't know how they are. Hopefully they'll get here soon, since I'm starting my pre-op diet on Tuesday. :scared2:
comtemplating 0 Posted July 17, 2009 I have never tried them but I have noticed that people have referenced them in several threads that discuss Protein Shakes. Hey- anything can help you get in your Protein shakes without added calories would be helpful!!!
melmarlem 0 Posted July 18, 2009 I have tried the DaVinci sugar-free french vanilla Syrup and personally I didn't care for it. It had too strong of a vanilla flavor, but maybe another flavor would be yummy :cursing:
annjones 3 Posted July 18, 2009 The Deloce is wonderful, as is the Rasberry and Peach. Gingerbread is good in oatmeal and coffee ditto for the chocolate. Pepermint Patty is very peperminty not bad just intense. Besides putting in Protein shakes to enchance the flavor I also have been known to put a squirt or two in my Water to make flavored water. lose2regainme 0 Posted August 5, 2009 I have the Di Vinci Gourmet sugar free flavored syrups in Caramel and Khalua. I have used the caramel in chocolate and vanilla shakes and the khalua in vanilla shakes. All very good. The vanilla shake with khalua tasted like a Khalua and Creme!!!!!!!!!! Yum!!! georgia girl 35 Posted August 5, 2009 I have tried a few of them and I really like them. I've tried the caramel and vanilla in my coffee, and egg nog. I used the egg nog flavored one at christmas time. I just added some to a glass of skim milk and it was DELICIOUS! I got that wonderful egg nog flavor without all the fat and calories. I've thought about ordering the toasted marshmallow...sounds yummy!
tlambright1986 0 Posted August 5, 2009 I just ordered the sf white chocolate, almond, and toffee! I have seen the local coffee shops around where I live use them and they taste really good... I have an espresso machine so I am going to try and make something similar to them!! It was only $25 for 3 syrups and shipping... I am a broke college student and $25 is better than spending $5-6 a day on drinks at the shops!!!!
Suzdavis 0 Posted August 6, 2009 I have bought the DaVinci SF Syrup at Sam's Club. I think it was about $5 a bottle. You might check there.... We love the SF Vanilla and Caramel.....
pickles123 0 Posted August 6, 2009 I have used the DeVinci sugar free for a number of years. They are great. I have finished a bottle of boysenberry (sp) and almost a bottle of raspberry. I am glad to hear they have them at Sam's club now.
