amanda1234 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Hi everyone, I was wondering if you need your lapband unfilled before surgery? I asked at my last fill and they said absolutely yes because when you;re recovering they want you to get all the nutrients to make you heal better. I asked them if this was the rule at their hospital or a general rule and they brushed off my question. I was hoping to stay filled because i want a Tummy Tuck and my fill nurse said it needs to stay empty for 8 weeks!! I can't imagine what a horrendous time I'll have trying to keep the weight off especially as I will have a brand new tummy!!
