Hey everybody!!! I am back at home...not kicking my heels up real high yet. Feeling pain in the port area and extremely sleepy! I will keep you posted!

Congrats! sleep good and feel good. I'm 3 days behind you so I'll be anxious to hear how your doing.

I feel pretty good today. Just alot of soreness in my port area. So far I have handled Water, broth and Jello with no problem. I took liquid tylenol with no problem as well as the small pain pills that Dr. B gave me. I cut them in half and take one piece at a time. I even have managed to get one Protein Shake down.

LadySplenda, I had my surgery done at the Richardson Surgery Center. The staff there was awesome!

Dianne, yes I am sleeping in the recliner. I try everynight to sleep in the bed, but I always end up in the recliner. It works out to be more comfortable that way.
