ok, I had a pretty good week. That being said, I also had a fill on Tuesday and was on mushies Wednesday and Thursday. That always helps!!! I hope everyone has a good week :smile:

May I join? This will be my first challenge here at LBT!! I am 3 weeks post-op and in desperate need of a fill but have to wait until August 13th. I need to go entirely on willpower and motivation, because I still feel hungry and like I did before surgery!!! UGH! I want to have a reason to check in on Mondays and watch the scale go down! :thumbup:

Down .4lb...what is this? I worked harder than that this week...TOM probably. I'll take it though...a loss is a loss!

Four pounds for me this week, and I couldn't be happier. I thought for sure it would slow down since I went off liquids and on to pureed food, but I am pleasantly surprised. I'm thinking my goal may be do-able! Best of luck to all!!!

I didn't even get to update in the chart!!! I didn't lose ANYTHING this week :lol: No excuses, but it is my TOM. Maybe I will have an awesome week next week. Good luck to everyone for a good upcoming week!!!:smile2:

Had some issues - got sick, stomach inflamed, band feels too tight, slight unfill - that led to my 10lbs weight loss in 1.5 weeks. I am sure I will gain some of it back but for now, I'm updating myself.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
