hopeful41411 0 Posted July 9, 2009 I'm three months post op and have been having a pain on my left side. It feels just like after you exercise (walk/run really hard) and your side hurts. Does anyone know what this pain is? It just started this last week. If I lean to my right it makes it feel better. Weird, huh? TIA! Andrea
Teeparty 0 Posted July 9, 2009 Andrea- I am 7 weeks post op and have had the same kind of pain on my right side. (my port is on left) My pain falls between the two trokar scars. Feels just like a strong stitch in the side as when exercising. I had my fill last Wed and mentioned it to my Doc. He said it was likely muscle pain in the healing of that area. I see him again next week. Hopefully, by then it won't hurt anymore.

BillOh 13 Posted July 9, 2009 A casual thought, if leaning to the right helps, do it! Do some stretching where you lean slowly to the right and hold it. I felt kind of the same thing and I think I was babying the side where my port is and overworked the other side.
