gatorgal 0 Posted July 8, 2009 I think my uppermost incision may be infected--it's right at my bra line and it's hard to keep my bra from rubbing it. I am going to the doc tomorrow for him to check it. Anyone else have issues with incisions?
Karamel 1 Posted July 8, 2009 My incision was right below my bra line and unless I sat straight up or stood straight up it rubbed and I had pain. I have been rubbing aloe vera on it twice a day and its healing pretty well (banded on June 11th). It did kind of keiloid (sp) on the edges. Im lucky im a clothes horse and love to buy bras. The only thing that has saved me is changing into a different bra every day and washing them in between wears. Washing them keeps them tight and they dont slip down as often. I used to work retail and noticed most women have about 4-5 bras, I have about 28 lol.
Phranp 46 Posted July 8, 2009 I went in for my first fill today and had reddness around the incision where my port is, I was afraid he would not fill. He did, YAY!! Anyway, I am going to buy some neosporin this evening in the hopes that it will be completely healed and the redness gone by my next fill -- in two weeks. Karamel, I also keloid and I am concerned about how I am healing. It appears that only the incision under my bra is showing signs of keloid. Go figure. Good luck to all. sloaneb 0 Posted July 8, 2009 I have a sort of swelling (hard firm) bulge under my large incision. I am going for a CAT scan to make sure it is not a hernia.
BH123 0 Posted July 25, 2009 Hi everyone I am newly banded:)I am 3 days post-op. The incision where my port is happens to be a little red a warm the nurse told me that if it isn't hot that I shouldn't worry. Is anyone else having this problem?
beccab1980 0 Posted July 25, 2009 I had the bra problem too. I bought a sports bra that was a little small so it stayed high and kept "the girls" from resting on the incisions. Sometimes I would wear my normal bra and the sports bra over it. I did have a problem with the stitches on my middle incision and the doctor had to dig them out at my first fill. It healed up within days after.
