Poodles 0 Posted September 20, 2005 I have been reading about "mushie" stages and blenders and such, and was wondering about baby food. Can you eat baby food post-op, or thereafter for a "fast food" type deal? They come in little 4 oz jars, which would be just the right portion. Laugh and point if you must, but then tell me if it would work.
La_madam 20 Posted September 20, 2005 never bothered with baby food, once I was o nthe mushy food stage I ate refried Beans, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, oatmeal..real food you know. Dont waste your calories on baby food when there is such a great variety of mushy foods they are high in sugar and loaded with carbs, you need your Protein.< /p>

the best me 6 Posted September 20, 2005 No laughing and pointing here! It's been tried! Baby food is just yucky for the adult pallette, especially when there are so many wonderful Soups and foods to try during that phase. Besides, the mushy phase passes so quickly in retrospect. Get a small, inexpensive blender and you will come up with all kinds of things. For "on the go" quick meals, Campbells makes the Soups To Go (I think) in the drinkable microwavable cans. Yum. Guest j. lynn Posted September 20, 2005 If you like it, it's fine. Or make your own -- mash up your own carrotts and peas and bananas and whatever else. jayme
