sillygrilly 0 Posted July 2, 2009 So I had my first fill yesterday. I thought it was going to hurt, but it wasn't as bad as I made it to be. The doctor put 5cc in, but when I started to drink Water I was having chest pains and he took 2cc out. It didn't help though that the doctor was in a foul mood and really didnt answer any of my questions. So i am here. I know that I have to be on a liquid diet for 3 days, but whats after that? Can I start my regular diet or do I go soft then regular food again? Help!!
Sue Magoo 71 Posted July 2, 2009 Hi: My doctor always recommends 1 day liquids, 1 day mushies, then back to regular foods. If your doctor wants you on 3 days of liquids, then you should probably do at least one day of mushies before moving on to regular foods. I love my band and my new flat tummy! itschoice 0 Posted July 2, 2009 I thought I would loose hair after having 3 surgeries to get this right but I, as of yet, have not had any Hair loss (knock on digital wood). Not everyone does. Dont worry about it unless it starts to happen. You never know if it will. Good luck. All will be fine.
Padanelle 2 Posted July 2, 2009 I just read a post about people losing their hair. I am actually soooooooo scared now. Did you have that problem? I have extremely thin hair and am now scared If it happens, I've read that its usually around 3 months after surgery. The good ne3ws is its temporary. The best way to avoid Hair loss is to make sure you keep up your Protein intake, and take sufficient Iron.
