bigmamma78 0 Posted June 30, 2009 okay just to be clear I am very overweight. I have no excess health problems and don't want them. My bmi is 42, but if I lose about 15 pounds I'm under 40 so, will this cancel out my surgery? I'm concerned of the weight loss from the pre op diet. Or once you've qualified with your initial weigh in that is what stands? Help!!!:tongue2:

RestlessMonkey 7 Posted July 2, 2009 Don't worry; it's the initial weight that will matter. You'll be fine.
bigmamma78 0 Posted July 3, 2009 Thank you!!!!! I thought that must be the case, because they want you to start losing before surgery. I just wasn't sure. I can lose weight I just can't keep it off.
