I don't care: A Michael Jackson Rant

I believe that Brittany Spear's blood sugar problems were caused by her excessive drinking and dieting and not the result or a genetic medical problem.

I just thought I would check in on this thread to see what folks had to say and I wished I had stayed on the forum just talking about wt. loss and cosmetic surgery.

Me too.

I was saddened by the guy because I thought he had too many issues that he should have dealt with as he certainly had the resources. He had very bad judgement in his relationships and in his use of cosmetic surgery, but he did a huge lot of good for a many thousands of starving people. He was just an injured soul. I hope he finds peace, and for those of you who get some comfort out of hating him and pronouncing him guilty of child molestation and wishing him in hell, I hope all of you find what ever it is that you are supposed to learn from this experience and move on.

Good luck on your life journey.

Corliss

So... the good he did for some should wipe out the evils he did to others? Would you feel that way if this "injured soul" had molested YOUR son?

Good Lord, some of you people...

Kat, as always...you clearly have a way of expressing what others are maybe thinking but cannot put into words.

On the steroids...I was on them for 5.5 yrs. Really raised havoc and contributed to a lot of my weight gain. Helped with the symptoms I was dealing with but also helped add the pounds (along with the fork in my hand).

Incidentally, we seem to have a spammer in our midst.....look under new posts, and a new "member" here called "mjfans" has posted a link to to site where we can buy Michael Jackson stuff.....

I am so excited. I can now buy MJ crap through links provided.

Perhaps they will have a special MJ signature lap band......

Why are so many so willing to give THIS guy a pass? Would you do so with the creep down the street??

And I wonder how many parents would let there child have a "sleepover" with the creep down the street?

And how many social workers do you think would show up at the door of that creep down the street if he had children in his care and was known to have a drug abuse problem??????

I have to believe all these lame-ass excuses are because he could sing and grab his crotch with one gloved hand. Otherwise I can't imagine ANY halfway intelligent person being even remotely okay with this. Unless we really do have bizarre people in society today who see nothing wrong with this behavior...

And...how many parents would let there sweet little boys have a "sleep over" with the creep down the street?

Bet if there was one small rumor of a pedophile in a "normal" neighborhood with children, social services would be knocking the door down.

I know throughout this thread some of us have come off as very bitter. But, as children we were thrown into unthinkable situations at the hands of an abuser (s). It takes your childhood away and makes a person numb. Then it makes you want to fight back.

I truly have forgiven my abuser. (But I cannot forget). I had to in order to have peace. I did my work on this. But, it doesn't make me any less passionate about my opinion on pedophilia(sp?). It is my right to have the wish that all of them rot in hell after death.

I have a little quote from the bible "Eye for an Eye"?

Huh?

Your point (or lack thereof) is nonsensical.

What my comment "contributed" to this thread is the observation that because we have a long-running and well-attended thread on MJ here at LBT, we are being targeted as potential customers for MJ products, and are therefore subject to spammers trying to sell us their "stuff". That is the way the internet works.

Which, I will assume, would not likely apply to you, as you probably already HAVE every piece of Michael Jackson crap available on the market.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
