HOWL with me TONIGHT!

Recommended Posts

Last month was the Harvest Moon--did any of you see it? It was so gorgeous. One of the things I really like about walking at night is that I get to enjoy the moon. Last month there was a beagle howling while I was out around the track marveling at the moon. We had a beagle when I was a kid so I have kind of a soft spot for them and I started howling back. My dog looked at me like I was crazy but I kept on howling--and I started howling and laughing and tears came down my checks for all the horrible and all the wonderful things I often feel like howling about.

It turned out to be such a cathartic experience! I noticed earlier in the week that tonight would be a full moon and have been looking forward to howling at it tonight. Wanna join me??

HOWL in frustration for all the pounds gained--howl in regret for all the thoughtless words spoken--howl in anger for all the cruel words heard--howl for a cleansing of every nick in your soul and then howl with JOY for your legs to walk, your lungs to breath, your tongue to speak and your eyes to see the beautiful, full moon and think of me--and everyone here with our battles lost, our battles won and our LBT chorus raised in sister and brotherhood to the sky!

I'll be listenin for you!

yeah, but after you clean them, aren't they disoriented? I find that after a salt soak they sort of lose their memories...

Okay WHAT the heck are you guys talkin about?????

No...you have to clean them with intention. Hold the intention that you are simply cleaning out the old, dark, or stale energy. Your stones and crystals are attuned to you, they won't forget. You are just giving them a cosmic dust cleaning.

Setting objects under the full moon is a good way to recharge them, esp crystals. Personally, I prefer setting them out in the sun. Can't explain why, I just like the energy it brings.

OKay I am lost. Are you talking withcraft?

Nope. Not a'tall. Just talking about the care of crystals.

Personally I love rose quartz. It's to help me with feeling a sense of self love. Gems and crystals have had meanings assigned to them for years.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
