YEAH!!!

I hit onderland and am sooo happy!!! I have lost 86 pounds now- had surgery on January 9th. Never imagined I'd be here ever again. Thank you God for the band!! It is an incredible tool!! Does anyone know how to delete a ticker?? I forgot my password- it is stuck on 51 pounds. Not good enough!

Congrats to everyone for hitting onderland. As for me just hitting twoland was wonderful enough. It will be a while til I hit onderland, but 59 pounds down, I'm on my way.

Jennifer,

at the top of the page on the left is a tab called user CP click on it. on the left of that page is a list click on "edit my signature" On your sig page are two boxes, the top one shows you sig how it is seen by others. The next box is for you to edit your sig. Click on your ticker in the edit box. It will be highlighted, then just hit delete on your keyboard. It will dissapear forever! Good luck and congrats on onederland!

How exciting!! I was banded January 16th and have 20lbs left to onderland! I can't wait! And I can't believe how quickly I got to it! (or am on my way to it I should say!)

Anyway, congrats on getting to onderland!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
