Liquids stretch pouch????

Does anyone know if you can stretch your pouch by taking in too many liquids? I can still take a gulp of Water in without discomfort, and I am concerned that I may stretch the pouch already. I am 11 days post op.

That's a very good question -- but I don't think liquids can stretch the pouch, since they simply just pass right on through to the lower stomach. If you are 11 days post-op, then you probably don't have much restriction, now that some of the swelling has gone down.

Anything can stretch your pouch, but you will feel it if you are not passing it through. It will hurt pretty bad. You should practice not gulping. It is a skill that will come in handy after you are filled some.:smile2:
