mespar101 0 Posted June 22, 2009 My name is Maria and I am considering Lap-band surgery. I have been struggling for years with my weight and I have been researching the lap band procedure and it seems like a good fit for me. I need to do something before my knees get worse and I am starting to experience back problems. I have tried so many diets and I have gain every pound back plus more. I am going to attend an information session at a local hospital here in Sacramento and hopefully I will be a good match. I've been reading the many posts and I'm wondering but is meant by "fill?" Maria Maria, HI NEIGHBOR.....Kristy from Lodi here. "Fill" means to add saline to your band via the port that is left inside of you. When is your seminar? I went to one yesterday and met a surgeon who does not cover my insurance. I have Kaiser. Is that what you have? You can email me directly at: kristymadrid2008@yahoo.com Since we are local to one another, we can support one another. Kristy:thumbup:
