DeeJay 0 Posted September 16, 2005 Could anyone please tell me what their doctor allows them to eat or drink before a fill. the lady in my doctor's office said I could have nothing that day, not even Water. My appointment is at 2 pm and I have a 3 hour drive to get there. I don't think I can go without a sip of water or Protein Drink or clear Soup or something. OK I am weak....help please...I am waiting for another lady in the office to call me back...hope the first one was mistaken.....
La_madam 20 Posted September 16, 2005 My doctor allows me to drink up until 1 hr before a fill but NO food for 4-5 hours before a fill.
thinkthin 0 Posted September 16, 2005 I was never told anything at all about eating or drinking beforehand. I had my first fill today at 10am, so at 9am I had a huge Breakfast (2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast) because I knew that I'd be on liquids for 2 days and mushies for 2 days afterward. No problems here! Duckie 0 Posted September 16, 2005 When I called my doc. last week, before my first fill they said there was no restrictions on eating/drinking prior to my fill. I ate a sandwhich 1/2 hour before going in. NO problems with the fill.

HarleyNana 10 Posted September 22, 2005 I can drink or eat up until my fill, then I'm given a cup of Water to sip and make sure I'm not too tight, the it's liquids for the next 24 hrs. Then back to usual, if I can stand it, LOL.

mousecrazy 2 Posted September 22, 2005 No food for 4 hours before fill, a cup of Water I drink there to make sure I can, then liquids the rest of the day. Mushy food the next day. I have only had one fill, and I wasn't very sensitive to it. Story may change on next fill! Cindy
