sallyjean 0 Posted June 15, 2009 I'm a little over 2 months out with my surgery. I have had 2 fills . My fills total 4 cc. I have lost 40 since I began my preop diiet. The first fill I had lost 7 lbs and from May 5 to June 9 I had lost 8 and next fill is July 14. I haven't had any problems of getting sick and if I'm not careful I can hold over a cup of food. On dr visit with last fill they wanted to know what I had for Breakfast and I had a whole banana that particular day and the nurse said I should only be able to hold 1/2 banana and she hoped that I hadn't made my pouch as large as my stomach. I guess everything was ok because she didn't get the dr. Does anyone know the signs of pouch being to big. I'm not complaining because I haven't had any problems but I'm worried about my stoma. July5forMe 0 Posted June 16, 2009 I'm glad you asked that question cuz i want to know the same thing. I've been banded for almost 3 years and i'm 10 lbs heavier than when i got banded. i fell off the wagon and never went back. UNTIL TODAY!!! if there is a such thing as stretching the pouch i'm sure i would have done it. I had a fill today and i'm assuming they would have noticed if my pouch was now the size my stomach used to be. I hope we get some helpful info.
