banded_for_life 2 Posted September 15, 2005 Just in case somebody was wanting to try the Starkist tuna Fillets in the pouch they are awesome!!! There was a 1.00 coupon on last Sunday's paper so I thought I was give them a try. I got the lightly seasoned one and I am totally impressed. I thought at 120 calories for the serving with just 1 carb and 26 grams of Protein that I couldn't miss with this one! Check it out!
Iluvharleys 15 Posted September 15, 2005 I like them too, and I like that they have so many different flavors.
BeckyinTexas 3 Posted September 15, 2005 Thanks for posting this. I've seen the commercial and wondered if they were any good but now I know they must be. I'm going to the grocery store during my lunchhour and buy some for supper tonight.
banded_for_life 2 Posted September 15, 2005 I don't think you will be disapponted Becky, I am going back for more this weekend. Anybody out there try the BumbleBee tuna Fillet Ginger and Soy? I would like to try that one next.
Road Queen 0 Posted September 15, 2005 I had the Starkis tuna packets - herb flavored, lemon pepper, hickory smoked, sweet and sour - for lunch all last winter. Since my last fill I haven't been able to handle them. I'm going to try the filets and see if they work any better. They sure sound good.
paula 4 Posted September 15, 2005 Everytime I pass this item in the store, I wonder if they are any good. Thanks for sharing - Ill be sure to get some next time! I LOVE QUICK AND EASY!
Jachut 487 Posted September 15, 2005 There really are some great healthy convenient foods out there - it makes me wonder why I'd choose rubbish instead, but sadly I do. I love those tuna fillets, and I love the pouched shredded tuna for sandwiches and salads too. Much better than tinned.
Teresita 0 Posted September 27, 2005 Keri I did get that coupon. I will be trying them also. Thanks
Kathy473 1 Posted September 27, 2005 I have had the tuna packets also but I tried the frozen Gorton's Grilled Salmon and the Cajun Blackened Salmon and those are YUMMY! You should really try them. I had some steamed veggies with it and it was very filling!
brunswick22 0 Posted September 29, 2005 Is the tuna in the pouch near the canned tuna?
