vicki jo 0 Posted July 6, 2009 i had my surgery june 18. I was out walking the day after i was discharged, slowly for sure but it seemed to help heaps. I know what you mean about the pain after surgery, I have had 4 caesarian deliveries and they were not as painful. The feeling was like I had my ribs cracked open for heart surgery or something. I still have a funny feeling in my left side like there is something moving around or putting pressure on me from the inside, but apart from that I am walking 4 km plus a day, but my appetite increased greatly at about day 12. Rooboy 0 Posted July 11, 2009 I was banded 8 days ago and I was able to walk around the wards the morning after the surgery. It has helped me heaps to be able to move around as I haven't had a lot of pain, just discomfort. If you can get up and walk you will find it helps a lot even if you can only walk a little bit.
