New to the Group and filled to the brim

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I was banded in April 08 and have gone down from a size 26 to a 14. My weight loss is slow, but definitely happening and I am basically happy with the whole process. However, since my last fill, I have had sliming, pb, and beyond. It is not consistent. Some days I am able to eat with no problem and other days I can't keep one bite down all day. My surgeon thinks I should just continue to try to modify my eating to be slowerand hold out awhile longer, but I am starting to really wonder if I just need a small unfill. My jaw hurts, I have a headache everyday and I am starting to feel an emotional toll.

I really would love some advice and input from those of you who have made this decision. Is it normal to experience this? Am I sabotaging myself by unfilling? Am I putting myself at risk by ignoring that I am too tight so I can lose faster?

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Jules

Jules, are you still closely following all the rules? If you are and are still PB'ing, then I think you're probably too tight.

I think you know you are too tight. I would insist on a slight unfill immediately!! You shouldn't be suffering like that and by now you know how to eat after you've come this far.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
