mki12 0 Posted July 25, 2003 Banded on 7/1/03 and first fill not scheduled until 8/12/03. Wedding in Sept and have to respond with food choice now. I have no idea what I' ll be able to eat or not. My choices are prime rib, chicken cor don bleau(?sp), stuffed baked scrod, and eggplant parmesarin(?sp) I'm leaning toward to the fish-what do you think? BandAid 3 Posted July 25, 2003 I'd go for the fish.
tangerine 44 Posted July 28, 2003 Definitely go for the fish! The chicken might be too dry, the beef too dense and to this day, almost 6 months after banding with no fill to date, eggplant sits in my pouch for hours on end. Bleah. With fish at least you can squeeze some lemon or something on it to moisten it in case it's dry. Have fun!
GeezerSue 7 Posted August 12, 2003 I WOULDN'T go for the fish, because the stuffing might--probably does--contain bread, and bread has messed me up since day one. And the chicken would be too dry for me. I would go for the prime rib. With a little real (not creamed) horseradish, please. Which is another way of saying, "If you were looking for easy answers and consistency, the band was probably not your best choice!"
Mary M. Riley 0 Posted August 12, 2003 I would go for the fish, definitely. If the stuffing is made with bread and that is a problem for you, just don't eat it! The stuffing may be made with other seafood rather than bread, in which case that would probably be easy to eat. Mary in Sacramento
