Hi...:blushing:

First, i'm really thinking the lap band is what i need to do ...I have an appt for a consultation this tuesday to see Dr.Jawad in Ocala ... My question is has anyone had there lap band done with him or have you heard of anyone that has? and second is there any good surgeons in Orlando that anyone has heard of ...I will be self pay and want to get this done asap , but i'm also really friecked out .... sorry for going on:blushing: I don't even know if i'm posting in the right area lol

I'm not in orlando area but a piece of advice would be to see if your surgeon is considered/holds title of "Center of Excellence". This is a gauge some insurance companies use, but even with you being self pay, it helps distinguish the quality of the surgeons/clinics.

Thanks, He actually is , but it just seems that the more i read i just haven't heard of his name pop up anywhere the way i would expect it too if he was so great :blushing: anyway thanks I guess i'm going to have to research some more:)
