JENNIFER7375 3 Posted June 6, 2009 does anyone else take secret pleasure in being smaller than people who used to talk about how fat you were? i saw my daughters stepmother yesterday for the 1st time in a while. she used to constantly talk bad about me. called me fat to people behind my back all the time always tried to start drama anywhere she could.. well low and behold guess what shes bigger than i am now. she said i looked great only after my daughter pointed out all the weight i'd lost to her. well then to add insult to injury i told her i was cleaning out my closet and that she was more than welcome to my old fat clothes. she looked like she wanted to hit me. now it may have been juvenlle but i dont care. that really made my day. actually it made my week. i know it wasnt nice but damn did it feel good. trust me it was well deserved. just had to share this with my band friends, i know some of you must be able to relate.:blushing:
OnTheWay to Thin 0 Posted June 6, 2009 LOL I could see doing that to my husbands xwife, she is such a bit-- and always saying nasty things about everyone, but especially me. Some people need to be taken down a peg, so dont feel bad, I would have done the same thing.

kgloverii 0 Posted June 6, 2009 Oh yeah... I take some secret pleasure in it. Someone told me the other day that they were 'really worried about me' and I shouldn't lose anymore weight. I am NOT underweight... just a nice size 4/6. I know it was jealousy talking, and I told them as such. Usually, I am not so blunt, but this person irritated me, because they were alluding to the fact that I was anorexic. :blushing:
eyezchu22 6 Posted June 6, 2009 Thats Great that you got to stick it to her LOL. I am just starting the process an hope to have my surgery before the year ends. My high school reunion is in 3 yrs so to be able to see all the people who made fun of me or were just rude when I look like a million bucks is a hope of mine. footballmom104 0 Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) I've lost 44 lbs since my surgery Jan. 19 and my sister-in-law hasn't said one word ... not one single word. She's always been thinner than me but has started putting on weight in the past couple of years and I'm pretty sure we weigh about the same now. I know she can't stand it - she doesn't have me to look down on anymore! :blushing: Edited June 7, 2009 by footballmom104 left some words out

sweetbean70 2 Posted June 10, 2009 LOL! I know exactly what you guys/gals are saying! A few years ago, I had an acquaintance that went on NutriSystem and lost 50 pounds. I swear to God that if she had offered me her "waaaaay too big clothes" to me one more time I would have done bodily harm!! When my current clothing gets too big, I so want to bag them all up and dump them in her lap. :ihih: PS: She has gained all of her weight back plus a little more. bigpapa2 0 Posted June 10, 2009 I laughed so hard when I read this post. Good for you. I am going though the samething right now there is someone in my life that has made comments and jokes before about my weight and now they arent saying a word to me. Not once have they even said anything good to me about my weight lose. Now I'm getting the Old, he had surgery so he took the easy way out even thou they know i workout just about every day. Haters will alway hate even after we lose the weight.
TopTier 0 Posted June 11, 2009 It's called "schadenfreude" and it's one of my favorite past times! Just kidding, but it is fun every once in a while! Bigpapa, true that about haters! Not worth wasting even good "schadenfreude" energy on!
Momoof4 0 Posted June 12, 2009 LMAO.. I am so with you! I have lost almost 50 lbs and my "wonderful" sister-in-law has said nothing to me! It feels great to be the "thin one" now!
sistasassy 6 Posted June 12, 2009 I have a mother-in-law who will not even acknowledge that I have had the surgery let alone my weight loss. She is going to freak out when we show up at her door this summer and there is much less of me coming through the doorway. I can't wait! My sister-in-law, her other daughter-in-law also had the same surgery and she is being treated the same way. I also have a whole slew of friends who will no longer talk to me. I don't say one word about my surgery or how much I have lost UNLESS ASKED. The compliments have started really rolling in an now the haters are turning greener and greener.
